Static standing frame
Static standing frame PARAPION is used for passive upright standing of patients. During this process patient’s sense of balance, internal organs and blood circulation system can adopt to new conditions and increased load. The patient in this device is able to perform simple domestic or professional activities. A set of belts and pelottes was designed for patient’s safety but also comfort.
The standing frame is equipped with rotating castors which enable transportation of the patient from one room to another in upright
position.
The device can be used in following cases:
- paraplegia
- tetraparesis
- tetraplegia
- multiple sclerosis
- advance demyelinization
- fourth stage of rheumatic illness
- infantile cerebral palsy
- meningomyelocele
- conditions after spinal injury – of loins, chest and neck
